Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 5 years of fire sprinkler design and project management experience.
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or AutoSprink design software.
• Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, especially in multi-family and commercial settings.
• Familiarity with current NFPA regulations.
• NICET Water Based System I, II, or III certification preferred.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
  
  

Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial, industrial, and multi-family sprinkler system design projects simultaneously.
• Oversee the complete project lifecycle, including design, scheduling, planning, construction, and delivery.
• Conduct and coordinate project activities such as expediting, inspection, and quality control.
• Ensure all designs meet current NFPA regulations and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders regarding progress and expectations.
