Event Manager: Full-Service Hotel & Convention Venue
Location: Baltimore, MD | Full-Time | On-Site
A leading full-service convention hotel in downtown Baltimore is seeking an Event Manager to support its high-volume Events & Catering team. This position plays a key role in coordinating conferences, meetings, and select social events—overseeing each program from planning through execution with accuracy, professionalism, and strong internal communication.
Role Highlights
- Over 100,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and banquet space
- Serve as the primary client contact for assigned events from start to finish
- Partner closely with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, and Operations
- Create BEOs, timelines, diagrams, and event setups with a high level of detail
- Identify upsell opportunities and elevate the guest experience
Background
**Recent work in HOTEL event management or hotel catering experience is required
- 1–3 years in a hotel, events, or catering role
- Strong communication, client service, and organizational skills
- Experience with systems like Delphi or CI/TY is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple mid-size programs in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
