We are seeking a highly experienced AutoCAD drafter for a well respected fire alarm company. Autocad Fire Alarm Drafter Requirements & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of drafting experience with projects utilizing AutoCAD
• Fire alarm, or electrical drafting expereince is a Plus!
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work 5 days onsite in Brooklyn, NY
  
  

Autocad Fire Alarm Drafter Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to assess fire risk and building layouts
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to define project requirements
• Prepare detailed schematics and shop drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with codes and manufacturer requirements
• Develop submittals and material lists for fire alarm installations
• Communicate with local officials, engineers, and customers regarding fire safety designs
• Stay current with advancements in fire alarm technology and relevant regulations
• Support additional team initiatives and tasks as assigned
