Attorney – Labor Law Litigation – Plaintiff Side
Are you an experienced labor law litigator seeking the opportunity to manage meaningful cases from inception through resolution while growing within a highly respected firm alongside experienced partners and support staff?
Qualifications
- 5 years of labor law litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred; candidates with labor law defense experience will also be considered)
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the State of New York and admitted to the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York
- Admission in Federal courts and New Jersey is a plus
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload and handle court appearances
- Strong legal drafting skills including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to work within the firm’s case management systems
- Experience supervising paralegals preferred
- Manage a labor law litigation caseload from intake through trial or resolution
- Draft and prepare legal documents including bills of particulars, pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and appellate briefs
- Conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and advocate for clients in hearings and motions
- Develop litigation strategies and assist partners with complex or high-exposure cases
- Maintain positive and consistent communication with clients throughout the life of the case
- Utilize case management systems and supervise assigned paralegals and support staff
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on achieving strong outcomes for clients

- Attorneys work closely with managing attorneys who assign cases and provide mentorship, supported by dedicated paralegal staff
