Premier Long Island Law Firm is looking for an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Department!
Responsibilities
- Defend clients in labor and employment matters, including sexual harassment, discrimination, overtime, and failure-to-pay-wages claims.
- Advise on management-side labor law, CBA negotiations, prevailing wage law, and withdrawal liability.
- Handle general corporate and commercial transactions.
- Maintain full client contact and develop effective legal strategies in collaboration with clients.
- Attend court proceedings, government agency hearings, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
Required Qualifications
- Attorney with 2–15 years of experience.
- Experience in labor and employment law defense.
- Ability to handle client contact, court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.
- Ability to conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
- Ability to work fully in the office.
Salary : $110,000 - $280,000
