We are looking for a Director of Sales for a busy, clean, and full service, branded hotel. We are looking for a community builder and social diplomat, a strategic business manager, and a sales hunter. This position has the potential to grow into an Area Director of Sales in the future!
Full Service Hotel Sales Director Qualifications
- 3 years as a Sales Director of a full-service hotel
- 5 years of progressive hotel sales experience
- Tactful, diplomatic, and influential communication style
- Outgoing persona and a strategic community builder
- Strong hunter mentality, not afraid of cold calling or knocking on doors
- Experience creating budgets, forecasts, and revenue projections
- Strong desire and ambition to grow career and take on new responsiblities
- Experience managing OTAs and rate setting preferred
- Represent the property professionally in the community and at sales shows
- Meet with prospective clients to discuss their needs, fair pricing, and accomodations
- Develop a strong book of business by building relationships with consistent follow through
- Respond to inbound leads in a timely and courteous manner
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure smooth and above expectation event execution
- Create proposals and respond to RFPs
- Other duties as assigned
