The SCSEP Coordinator will perform and coordinate recruitment, intake, eligibility determination, orientation, advising, enrollment, and follow up procedures for program participants.

Essential Duties And Tasks
- Recruits and selects participants according to program and funder guidelines.
- Determines eligibility of participants based upon established guidelines provided by USDOL & GII.
- Facilitates the development of individual employment plan.
- Conducts skills assessments of participants.
- Makes Community Service Training assignments based on IEP.
- Ensures participants’ files are maintained according to program guidelines.
- Ensures each participant obtains the training appropriate for success.
- Ensures each participant moves into unsubsidized employment.
- Completes all necessary paperwork.
- Refers participants to community resources and services, as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; prefer a degree in human services, workforce development, career counseling, public relations, or related field.
- Must have experience in, and/ or knowledge of working with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including those with different levels of academic preparation.
- Must be flexible, multi-task orientated and able to prioritize job duties with minimal supervision, including flexibility of work hours.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be versatile and willing to work with a variety of people.
- Must have proficient computer skills necessary to perform job duties.
- Must have the ability to communicate well both orally and written.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
