You will be joining a dedicated team, reporting directly to the Receiving Manager, and playing a vital role in resolving discrepancies and maintaining the accuracy of our inventory. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind our supply chain efficiency:

• Receipt & Shipment Management: Review open receipts in Latitude, verify paperwork accuracy, and manage LTL shipment details to ensure post-pending status.

• Issue Resolution: Take ownership of the "Issue Shelf," promptly resolving vendor, transfer, and accounting discrepancies.

• Delivery Coordination: Schedule truck deliveries and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.

• Data Accuracy: Maintain precise inventory records and generate reports on operational metrics, shipment status, and discrepancies.

• Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with vendors and carriers, following up on late or damaged shipments to prevent recurring issues.

• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in receiving or scheduling workflows and suggest improvements to boost performance.

• Compliance & Audits: Assist with cycle counts and audits while ensuring all activities comply with company procedures.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; a college degree is preferred.

• Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehouse coordination, or inventory management is preferred.

• Technical Skills: * Proficiency with warehouse management systems (experience with Latitude is a significant plus).

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Skills:

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data reconciliation.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for carrier and vendor management.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Requirements: Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
