Malibu Jack’s Park Coordinator
Reports to: Floor Manager
Job Summary
The Park Coordinator is a dynamic leadership role that provides cross-functional support across departments—Guest Services, Groups & Parties, Food & Beverage, and Training. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by stepping in whenever coverage or extra leadership is needed, including opening/closing responsibilities and floor management.
This position requires Thursday-Sunday availability.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Step in as a coordinator for any department (Guest Services, Party & Events, Restaurant, or Training) when coverage is needed.
- Supervise staff, manage breaks, and ensure proper staffing throughout shifts.
- Open and close the park as scheduled, handling cash counts, deposits, and security procedures.
Guest Experience & Floor Oversight
- Act as a floor leader, responding to guest concerns, ride support calls, and escalated issues.
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner across all areas.
- Uphold Malibu Jack’s guest service standards to ensure a fun, safe, and welcoming experience.
Training & Coaching
- Reinforce service, safety, and performance standards with new and current staff.
- Support the Training Coordinator with checklists, hands-on coaching, and feedback.
Groups & Parties
- Assist with setup/tear-down for parties and events.
- Ensure group events run smoothly and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain an organized, welcoming space.
Administrative & Operational Duties
- Complete shift reports, daily logs, and invoices as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and ordering.
- Support special projects, events, and holiday operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Exceptional adaptability and willingness to rotate daily between departments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Guest-first mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, customer service, and event practices (or eagerness to learn). Calm, organized, and reliable under pressure.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous leadership or customer-facing experience preferred.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
