Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel Night Auditor to join our team! In this vital role, you will oversee overnight operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and provide outstanding guest services during the night shift. Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage the front desk during overnight hours, assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure guest satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks of the property to maintain a secure environment.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including financial summaries, incident logs, and maintenance needs.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette to address guest needs or direct calls appropriately.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns or property issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate financial reconciliation and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and professionalism.
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices, guest relations, and phone etiquette is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in resort or hotel environments is preferred but not required.
