The Position
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional guest services, manage check-in and check-out processes, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
- Manage reservations accurately using hotel management software; update guest records as needed.
- Address guest concerns promptly, demonstrating strong customer service and guest relations skills.
- Maintain a tidy front desk area and ensure all guest-facing spaces are welcoming and organized.
- Support night audit procedures when required, ensuring accurate financial transactions and record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to assist diverse guests effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction.
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities with attention to detail.
- Experience in resort settings or hotels is preferred but not required.
