The Opportunity
ECC is seeking a First Assistant Golf Professional to help lead daily shop and outside-services activities, mentor staff, and ensure an exceptional member and guest experience. This is a career-accelerating opportunity for an ambitious PGA Professional who wants to develop into a future Head Golf Professional under the mentorship of Bill Morach, PGA, one of the Northwest’s most respected and award-winning leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day golf operations and staff training
- Manage merchandising, inventory, vendor relations, and retail performance
- Oversee and grow the Junior Golf programs
- Support tournament operations using Golf Geni
- Provide private lessons and group instruction (1–3 per day typically)
- Represent ECC with professionalism and visibility at the club
Ideal Candidate
- PGA Class A Member (or actively pursuing)
- 2–3 years at a top private club
- Strong merchandising, leadership, and Golf Genius skills
- Member-first mindset with polished communication and organization
- Experience with Jonas, ForeTees, or similar systems preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000
- Lesson Income: $5,000–$10,000 annual
- OTE: $65,000 - $75,000
