The Role
We are seeking a Senior Development Associate to play a key role in driving real estate development and investment activity. This individual will lead financial underwriting, deal sourcing, capital stack coordination, and overall development execution.
This position reports directly to the Chief Development Officer and offers strong visibility, responsibility, and opportunity for advancement within a fast-paced, growth-oriented platform.
What You’ll Do
- Lead financial underwriting across multiple asset classes
- Conduct due diligence on development and acquisition opportunities
- Perform market analysis and maintain comparable data sets
- Support capital stack structuring and investor/lender coordination
- Analyze returns under dynamic market conditions throughout the development lifecycle
- Review and assist in enforcement of contracts and deal documentation
- Execute business strategy throughout the development timeline
- Partner with construction teams on financial impacts (draws, change orders, etc.)
- Create reporting tools and dashboards to track financial performance
- Source and evaluate new deal opportunities across markets
- Interface with capital partners, lenders, and third-party stakeholders
- Review operational and property management performance
- Monitor and report on investment-level financial performance

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field
- 7 years of experience in commercial real estate or investment-related role
- Strong experience with financial modeling and underwriting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
