Director of Procurement & Design

Goldenrod Companies is seeking a Director of Procurement & Design to lead procurement strategy, vendor partnerships, purchasing operations, and interior design coordination across our growing national real estate and construction platform.

What You’ll Do
Procurement Leadership
- Lead procurement operations across multiple companies and project types
- Develop and implement company-wide purchasing standards, systems, and processes
- Build and manage strategic relationships with national vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers
- Negotiate pricing agreements, contracts, and purchasing programs to drive cost savings and operational efficiency
- Oversee FF&E procurement, material sourcing, logistics, and vendor performance
- Collaborate closely with Development, Construction, Property Management, and Accounting teams to align purchasing strategies with project goals and timelines
Design & Interior Coordination
- Oversee interior design coordination for multifamily, hospitality, office, and mixed-use developments
- Manage and/or mentor interior design and procurement team members
- Assist with finish selections, furniture packages, specifications, and design standards
- Ensure design intent aligns with budget, schedule, and operational goals
- Help standardize finishes, procurement workflows, and vendor relationships across the portfolio
Team & Operational Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a growing procurement and design team
- Create scalable processes and reporting systems as the company continues to expand nationally
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic initiatives
- Drive accountability, organization, and execution across multiple simultaneous projects
What We’re Looking For
- 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, FF&E, construction, interior design, HVAC/mechanical procurement or related fields
- Leadership experience managing teams and multi-project operations
- Experience in commercial real estate, multifamily, hospitality, construction, development, or design environments strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of vendor negotiations, purchasing systems, budgets, and operational workflows
- Ability to balance creativity, operational execution, and strategic thinking
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build structure in a fast-growing organization
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
