Role Summary
Golden West Packaging Group is looking for a motivated Paper Supply Chain Analyst to join our Sacramento team. Key Responsibilities
Procurement
- Prepare RFQs, analyze bids, and draft PO recommendations with paper suppliers.
- Maintain assist with PPW/RISI price-movement updates.
- Track orders/ETAs; resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies with AP and suppliers.
Forecasting & S&OP
- Build and refresh grade/site usage forecasts; monitor accuracy (MAPE/WAPE) and bias.
- Recommend safety stock, min/max, and reorder points by site/grade.
- Partner with Plants, Scheduling, Estimating, and Sales to align near-/mid-term supply plans.
Inventory Control
- Assign rolls and leverage inventory for potential alternative materials
- Monitor roll inventory health (age, slow/excess); coordinate transfers and dispositions.
- Maintain item/grade master data
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Data/Analytics, or related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Strong Excel (pivots, lookups, nested formulas); comfort with large datasets.
- Clear, concise communicator; highly organized with a bias for action and collaboration.

Salary : $70,500 - $82,000
