Job Description:
Maintain and execute a critical path schedule to core marketing initiatives. Manage key, cross-functional projects as outlined by the Annual Marketing Plan. Provide initiation, definition, delivery and closure of projects within timelines, cost and quality. Provide executional expertise and lead a team of stakeholders through a disciplined, data-driven process to achieve project requirements. Key Responsibilities:
o Manage and execute multi-channel projects through the entire project lifecycle
o implement assigned projects, including developing scope and approach for each project, managing project timelines and milestones, preparation of schedules, agreements, provide feedback on vendor proposals/bids, and coordination of contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal resources
o Identify and evaluate project risks, devise and implement effective mitigation strategies, escalate decisions and unresolved issues
o Deliver solutions that can meet the customer and business objectives of the project, including post-program launch evaluation
o Communicate project performance, including sub work-streams within projects in a timely manner
o Manage timelines, resources, budgets and expectations of stakeholders for assigned projects
o Build strong relationships across all functions within Kroger as well as with vendors and lead cross functional teams to develop and deliver project requirements
o Use established project management methodology to ensure formal tracking and analysis of projects with clear documentation of approvals given and actions taken
o Provide constant analysis of best business practices and strive to establish a culture of quality
o Provide overall leadership to project resources
o Present process changes, gain alignment from all functional leaders, and work collaboratively to implement
o Update project and program plans with actual and forecasts as well as manage and escalate deviations from plan and project parameters.
