Distribution Attendant (Seasonal)
As a distribution attendant you are responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments of goods. You will manage inventory, pick orders & coordinate shipments.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Receives, stores, and issues merchandise per the inventory stock requisition.
- Operates pallet jack, forklifts, and other equipment commonly used in warehouse operations.
- Checks bill of lading against goods received and purchase orders.
- Responsible for sorting, stocking, rotating, and delivery of stockroom items.
- Maintains overall cleanliness of warehouse/storeroom area.
- Performs any additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One (1) year prior warehouse experience preferably in hotel/casino industry.
- Must be familiar with basic PC programs and have the ability to write basic correspondence to vendors and internal customers.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain a valid Casino Employee Registration license upon hire
