It is the responsibility of the Slot Technician to Provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
- Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards
- Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information
- Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices
- Rebuild parts/equipment during down time, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned
- Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary
- Ensure that all slot/storage areas are clean and organized
- Responsible for the set-up and testing new slot product
- Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position
- Complete all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly
- Able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
- Minimum one year of slot repair experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a the required state Casino Employee Registration
