A Banquet Set-up Porter is responsible for preparing rooms for Banquet functions by ultimately delivering an extraordinary experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the setup of the banquet ballroom, meeting rooms and pool deck
- Responsible for setting up the banquet facilities according to function sheet requirements in a timely manner
- Responsible for the breakdown of room set up after all functions and placing equipment back in its proper storage
- Responsible for setting up the water stations or individual pitchers in meeting rooms as needed
- Ensure the safety and security of guest and employees
- Have prior experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Are capable of lifting and moving heavy objects
- Have good people skills and a well-groomed appearance
- Have the ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Are at least 18 years old
