Responsibilities
- Sweeping, Mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing and buffing floors.
- Equipment operating. Using floor cleaning machines such as buffers, scrubbers and extractors.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and reporting maintenance issues.
- Performing tasks such as carpet spotting, bonnet cleaning and extracting.
- Assisting with other cleaning duties as needed, including dusting, cleaning walls and furniture.
- Maintaining an inventory of floor areas, scheduling cleaning duties, and reporting maintenance needs to supervisors.

- Knowledge of floor care techniques, equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
- Work in an environment that is subjected to varying levels of heat and noise, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
- Able to work independently.

- The job requires standing for extended periods and lifting heavy equipment.
- Ability to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision/multiple interruptions, exercise judgment and adapt instructions/directions from one assignment to another.
