What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Helper / Prep & Dish position at Golden Key Chinese Restaurant?
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our restaurant team in Gresham. This position is ideal for someone with some restaurant or kitchen experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and helping wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keep kitchen and prep areas clean and organized
- Restock ingredients and supplies
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods
- Take out trash and complete closing cleanup
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Some restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift approximately 30–40 lbs when needed
- Willing to help with a variety of kitchen tasks
- Positive attitude and good teamwork
- Chinese-speaking ability is a plus, but not required

- Thursday: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Friday: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Saturday: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Sunday: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
