Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrator for Workday HCM and related modules.
- Configure and maintain organizational structures, business processes, security roles, notifications, and workflows.
- Manage tenant setup, testing, migration, and deployment of system changes.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality of Workday applications.
- Evaluate and implement Workday releases, enhancements, and new features.
- Design, configure, and maintain Workday business processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Recommend system improvements to streamline HR operations and increase automation.
- Support organizational changes, acquisitions, restructures, and workforce planning initiatives within Workday
- Develop, maintain, and optimize standard, custom, advanced, and composite Workday reports.
- Create dashboards and analytical tools to support HR decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through audits, validation, and ongoing monitoring.
- Support compliance reporting and organizational metrics.
- Monitor and support Workday inbound and outbound integrations.
- Partner with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve integration issues.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
- Train managers, leaders and team members on Workday functionality and best practices
- Test new functionality, execute user acceptance testing (UAT), and coordinate production deployments.
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, user experience, and data quality.
- Manage assigned learning content, enrollment rules, prerequisites, certifications, and completion tracking.
- Ensure compliance-related training programs are assigned, monitored, and documented according to organizational and regulatory requirements for internal and external audits.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements including EEO, Nevada Gaming Control Board Regulations compliance, labor compliance, and other applicable workforce reporting obligations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to HRIS staff and cross-functional team members.
- May supervise and provide direction to HRIS & HR Coordinators, or other assigned personnel. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and development of HRIS team members as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Workday administration, business process, reporting, learning, configuration, and security management experience desired
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, with strong emphasis on HRIS administration experience.
- Extensive understanding of end-to-end HR business processes.
- Strong Workday Business Process Framework and workflow configuration.
- Experience creating custom Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and wage-and-hour regulations.
- Strong understanding of HR data governance, auditing, system controls, and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
