Role Overview
We are looking for a Bench Jeweler to join our production team in New York City.
This is an on-site role based in the Diamond District.
You will work across both custom and production pieces—supporting the full process from raw castings through final finish.
Your work is essential to maintaining consistency, precision, and quality across all pieces as they move through production.
You will operate within a structured production system—working closely with setters, CAD designers, and production leads to ensure clean, predictable execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Clean and prepare castings for further production
- Perform precise soldering and assembly of multi-component pieces
- Support pre-setting preparation and structural adjustments
- Execute polishing and surface finishing (high polish, matte, specialty finishes)
- Work across both one-of-a-kind pieces and production runs
- Collaborate closely with setters and production team
- Maintain strict standards for finish, symmetry, and structural integrity
- Contribute to a production environment where work is consistent, repeatable, and controlled
Who We’re Looking For
- 3 years of professional bench jewelry experience
- Strong experience working with precious metals (gold, platinum, silver)
- Proven skills in soldering, assembly, and finishing
- Experience in high-end or production jewelry environments
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work within structured workflows and production systems
- Discipline, reliability, and craftsmanship
Compensation
- $30–$55/hour, depending on experience and skill level
- Performance-based incentives tied to output and quality
- Consistent workflow with steady production volume
