Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary needs are accommodated with precision
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation protocols
- Assist with food preparation, including plating dishes, setting up serving stations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining a clean dining area to uphold sanitation standards
- Support the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring dietary guidelines are followed
- Maintain a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and food safety procedures to answer guest questions confidently
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, including assisted living or nursing home settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
