Warehouse Sorter

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly efficient and organized Sorter to join our dynamic warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and shipping packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities

- Receive and sort packages and products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate a Reach Truck to retrieve and place stock on shelves or in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including labeling and stacking products.
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet order fulfillment goals.
- Participate in tasks related to order fulfillment, including picking and packing products.
- Perform heavy lifting and bending to handle packages and stock.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the role.
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping and receiving role is essential.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a significant advantage.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely.
- Experience with package sorting and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and stock management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
