Contract HR Generalist

Salary: $28-30/hr

• What your future day will look like: Provide general HR support across employee relations, policy guidance, and day-to-day team needs.
• Manage and support leave-of-absence processes, ensuring compliance and clear communication with employees.
• Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR-related questions and situations.
• Assist with HR documentation, tracking, and administrative processes during team coverage.
• Maintain consistent communication to ensure continuity while permanent team members are on leave.
• Support additional HR initiatives and priorities as needed during the coverage period

Type: Contract

• To be a champion in this role, you will need: Proven experience working as an HR Generalist supporting multiple HR functions
• Strong employee relations experience with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
• Working knowledge of leave-of-absence processes and compliance considerations
• Familiarity with California employment laws and HR practices a plus
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Reliable, detail-oriented work style with strong follow-through and ability to work independently
