The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors. NCEES staff members develop, administer, and score the examinations used for engineering and surveying licensure in the United States. ABOUT OUR POSITION
We are seeking a motivated, engaged, and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role provides vital support to both the Human Resources and Facilities departments.
In addition to providing front desk coverage during breaks and scheduled absences, this position contributes to the broader goals of the Human Resources department through administrative and operational support. Mid-level HR responsibilities include assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, coordinating employee training sessions, maintaining HR records and systems, supporting benefits administration, and helping to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need to have:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5 years of progressive human resources experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Ability to maintain high-level confidentiality
