Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fry Cook to join our culinary team. As a Fry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines. Your expertise in food preparation and frying techniques will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods
- Follow established recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality
- Monitor fryer temperatures and adjust cooking times as needed to achieve desired results
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station, including regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as food prep, dishwashing, or plating
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Fry Cook or in a similar role required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and frying methods
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
