Job Summary
The Line Server is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and accurate food service to guests in a cafeteria or buffet-style setting. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately portion and present food items according to restaurant standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food line and serving area
- Restock food and supplies as needed during service
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure availability of menu items
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible
- Assist with breakdown and clean-up of the serving area after service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a cafeteria, buffet, or fast-paced food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
