What We Offer
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, VAV systems, package units, and other mechanical equipment across office buildings, retail centers, and light industrial facilities. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and complete repairs that keep systems operating efficiently.
You will work from service calls and scheduled maintenance while also having the opportunity to handle more advanced diagnostics, depending on your experience. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, working with controls and building automation systems when applicable, and coordinating with property managers, facility teams, and other trades on job sites.
Technicians are responsible for completing detailed service documentation, maintaining company equipment and vehicles, and representing the company professionally in commercial environments.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking technicians who have at least two years of HVAC service experience, with preference given to candidates who have worked in commercial environments or want to transition into commercial service. Strong troubleshooting ability and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems are important for success in this role.
Experience with RTUs, controls, and commercial mechanical systems is highly valued. Exposure to chillers, boilers, or building automation systems is a plus and will create additional earnings and advancement opportunities.
Candidates should have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and the ability to communicate clearly with property managers, general contractors, and team members. Successful technicians are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while managing multiple job sites and priorities.
The role requires familiarity with HVAC tools, safety procedures, and local codes, along with the ability to read blueprints and work in a variety of environments, including rooftops and mechanical rooms. EPA certification is preferred.
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment
