What You'll Do
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, VAV systems, package units, and related commercial equipment across office buildings, retail centers, and light industrial properties. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, complete repairs, and ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
This role includes working with blueprints, schematics, control systems, and building automation systems when applicable. Depending on your experience, you may also assist with more advanced systems such as chillers, boilers, and complex diagnostics. Technicians will coordinate with property managers, facility teams, and other trades while maintaining professional communication and accurate service documentation.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking experienced HVAC professionals with at least two years of service experience, ideally in commercial HVAC environments. Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, and experience working with commercial equipment such as RTUs, controls, and preventative maintenance programs.
Experience with chillers, boilers, or building automation systems is highly valued and can lead to expanded advancement opportunities. EPA certification is preferred. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls and priorities.
