Senior Service Coordinator – Plumbing Services
Location: El Cajon, CA 92020 (San Diego County)
Pay: $20–$25/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional after-hours/on-call support)
Locally operated plumbing service provider looking for an experienced, highly organized Senior Service Coordinator to run day-to-day scheduling, customer communication, and office support for their plumbing division. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in a service/dispatch environment (plumbing, HVAC, trades, home services) and knows how to keep technicians, customers, and management all on the same page.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and manage daily service schedules for plumbing technicians
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer calls, service requests, and follow-ups
- Create and track work orders, estimates, and invoices using service software
- Communicate job details, parts/materials, and timeframes to field staff
- Monitor routes and workloads to maximize productivity
- Keep accurate records of jobs, customers, and billing
- Support office/operations leadership with process improvements
- Provide direction/mentorship to junior office staff when needed
- Help maintain an organized, professional office environment
Preferred Experience
- 3 years in service coordination, dispatching, or admin support (plumbing/trades/home services highly preferred)
- Experience with Housecall Pro and QuickBooks is a big plus
- Strong multitasking and time management skills — this is a fast-paced role
- Professional phone and email etiquette
- Comfortable in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Able to work independently, stay solutions-focused, and support a field team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment
- Office-based role in El Cajon, CA
- Monday–Friday, approx. 8 AM – 5 PM
- Occasional after-hours support for urgent service calls
Compensation & Perks
