We are seeking an experienced and dependable Labor Foreman to lead a labor crew on a new residential construction project. This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day jobsite labor operations, coordinating crew activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on construction experience, and a solid understanding of residential jobsite operations from site prep through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead labor crews on new residential construction sites
- Assign daily tasks and ensure crews are working efficiently and safely
- Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors to support project schedules
- Oversee site preparation, material handling, cleanup, and general labor operations
- Ensure proper use of equipment and materials
- Monitor jobsite safety and enforce OSHA and company safety standards
- Train and mentor laborers on proper work methods and jobsite expectations
- Assist with trades support, and site organization
- Track crew productivity and report progress to management
- Identify and resolve jobsite issues proactively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite environment
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and labor tasks are completed to quality standards
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in residential construction experience
- 1 years of foreman, lead, or crew supervision experience preferred
- Strong understanding of new residential construction processes
- Ability to read plans and follow project specifications is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
