Are you an experienced construction professional with a knack for leadership and a passion for the industry? We are currently seeking a Permanent Foreman for Residential and Commercial Construction to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to showcase their skills and contribute to our ongoing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the construction site, from planning to completion. This role is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on a daily basis
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on residential and commercial projects
• Proven experience as a construction foreman or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA 30 guidelines
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Aptitude in math and problem-solving
• Diploma in construction or relevant field; a degree in construction management is a plus
• Experience in ground-up, remodel, and self-perform construction
• Proficiency in using hand tools and construction equipment
• Demonstrated skills in team leadership and construction management
