ABF Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Working Foreman with strong commercial/industrial construction skills. This position requires both leadership and hands-on work in the field.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead on-site crews and subcontractors
- Perform hands-on carpentry: framing, door hanging, hardware installation, punch-list work
- Read and interpret plans and specs
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and jobsite logistics
- Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical trade coordination
- Maintain jobsite safety, quality control, and daily reporting
Requirements
- 5 years of commercial/industrial construction experience
- Strong framing and carpentry skills (wood and metal)
- Ability to complete small tasks independently (doors, blocking, backing, odds/ends)
- Valid driver’s license clean driving record
- Must pass a background check
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work hands-on daily
- Experience supervising crews preferred
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (Not required but a plus)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
