The Residential Therapist is responsible for developing and executing a substantial treatment program to facilitate the youths' development and growth by meeting their physical, emotional, educational, and vocational needs. The Residential Therapist is responsible for ensuring the treatment milieu is youth-centered and effectively designed to be implemented and meet the youths' needs in placement.
Qualifications
1. Master's Degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Child Counseling, Social Work, or related field, with a minimum of six months experience in a residential setting.
2. Must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Science.

2. Must have knowledge of group process and interaction; working knowledge of child and adolescent development and treatment approaches effective in working with emotionally disturbed youths.
3. A minimum of three years’ experience working with troubled youths (latency and adolescent aged youths, preferable).
4. Minimum requirements and expectations of work performance are characterized by skilled professionalism, excellent clinical and case management skills, sound judgment, differentiated use of information, crisis intervention, and behavioral modification techniques.
5. Must be 21 years of age.
