You will be replacing our retiring Senior Accountant with an overlap of 4 to 5 months so you will be thoroughly trained, and our processes are well documented which is an ideal situation to be hired into.
GMI Solutions is a contract manufacturer established in 1983 and has a reputation for innovation and excellence. We have a team and family-oriented philosophy and offer plenty of on-site amenities and special events. MūL Technologies is our sister company that develops and sells robotic carts which won “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin”.
What You’ll Do
As Senior Accountant, you’ll lead and support essential financial functions for multiple companies, including:
Accounting
- Managing the monthly close and preparing accurate financial statements
- Overseeing general ledger activity and ensuring data integrity
- Producing financial reports on a periodic basis
- Providing account analysis and reconciliations
· Working with cross-functional teams to establish processes resulting in accurate accounting records
- Approving vendor bills in ERP system and preparing weekly check run
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and staff
Automation
- Administering NetSuite ERP
- Developing NetSuite reports and Excel applications using Power Query
- Overseeing sales tax filings processed by Avalara
- Overseeing expense management software to be implemented in 2026
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Discretion with confidential information
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow
- Excel proficiency
- Genuine interest in AI, automation, and business innovation
- Ability to think critically and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
