Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Milwaukee, WI. Key Tasks:
- Own GL-focused accounting activities including payroll, accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations for U.S. Distribution
- Support accurate financial reporting through monthly close processes, reporting (including Costed Not Invoiced), and issue resolution with cross-functional teams
- Manage rental revenue recognition and cutoff analysis to ensure proper GAAP compliance
- Partner with payroll, operations, IT, and finance to resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements
- Assist with broader GL management including intercompany reconciliations, invoice processing, and control environment activities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA preferred
- 5-7 years of accounting experience with strong exposure to GL, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Experience working in a dynamic corporate or distribution/manufacturing environment preferred (U.S.)
- Strong technical accounting foundation with exposure to accruals, revenue recognition, and financial close processes
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and resolve accounting issues with business partners
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
