Job Description
The Gloucester Public Schools are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Assistant IT Director to play a vital
role in our district's technology operations. This position is responsible for managing projects, ensuring
the stability, security, and efficiency of our network and systems, and supporting the implementation of
the district's strategic vision. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert and a collaborative leader,
committed to providing a reliable technology environment for all students and staff.
The Assistant Director of Information Technology will work closely with the Director to coordinate
daily activities, ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, and support the achievement of
departmental goals related to productivity and operational efficiency. This role involves the daily
administration, management, and maintenance of various systems, hardware, and network infrastructure
across all school buildings. The position reports directly to and is evaluated by the Director of
Information Technology.
