Front End Engineer

Location: New York City (Hybrid)

I'm partnering with a venture-backed, high-growth infrastructure software startup that's building cutting-edge AI technology for enterprise engineering teams. The company is backed by top-tier investors, works with well-known enterprise customers, and is growing rapidly following a recent funding round.

They're looking for a Frontend Engineer who is excited about building exceptional user experiences for highly technical users and wants meaningful ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You'll Do

• Build modern, intuitive user interfaces used by engineering and infrastructure teams
• Develop dashboards, workflows, and operational tooling used to manage complex cloud environments
• Work closely with product and engineering leadership to shape the user experience from the ground up
• Create data-rich, highly interactive frontend applications that help customers make critical infrastructure decisions
• Build visualizations, monitoring experiences, automation workflows, and developer-facing tools
• Contribute to product direction and help establish frontend best practices as the company scales

Tech Stack

• React
• TypeScript / JavaScript
• GraphQL (Apollo)
• Modern frontend tooling and build systems
• Data visualization and animation libraries
• Cloud-native and infrastructure-focused products

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience building applications with React
• Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend development practices
• Familiarity with GraphQL or similar API technologies
• Strong product sense and attention to UI/UX details
• Experience building complex dashboards, internal tools, SaaS products, or developer-facing applications
• Comfortable working in a collaborative startup environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps tooling
• Experience building products for technical users
• Background in developer tools, observability, platform engineering, or infrastructure software
• Full-stack experience
• Familiarity with charting, data visualization, or animation libraries

Compensation: $130,000 - $190,000 base salary equity
