Glocomms is partnered with a leading high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure firm to identify a Manager of Infrastructure & Network Security responsible for leading and scaling security efforts across large-scale, GPU-intensive environments. This organization operates at the intersection of advanced compute, cloud infrastructure, and modern data center design, supporting highly distributed, performance-critical workloads. This role will own the development and execution of a comprehensive infrastructure security program, with a strong focus on network architecture, attack surface reduction, and operational resilience, while managing and mentoring a growing technical team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of secure network architecture across HPC, cloud, and data center environments, including GPU clusters
- Manage and evolve the organization's infrastructure security program aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance
- Oversee attack surface management initiatives, including exposure tracking, vulnerability identification, and remediation prioritization
- Implement and enforce network security controls such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, secure web gateways, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
- Drive network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies to prevent lateral movement and enable rapid threat containment
- Establish continuous monitoring and visibility across server, network device, and edge environments
- Lead vulnerability scanning and infrastructure hardening efforts using industry frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, NIST, DISA STIGs)
- Partner cross-functionally with IT operations, engineering, and leadership teams to align on security policies, operational resilience, and workload prioritization
- Translate technical risks into clear business context and deliver executive-level reporting on security posture and emerging threats
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of security engineers while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Key Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure or network security, including prior leadership or management experience
- Strong expertise in network architecture and security, including segmentation, micro-segmentation, and edge security
- Hands-on experience with security tools and controls such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, secure web gateways, and ZTNA
- Deep knowledge of vulnerability management, including scanning, risk prioritization, and remediation workflows
- Experience with attack surface management and exposure management in distributed or HPC environments
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and DISA STIGs
- Proven ability to develop security roadmaps and manage programs end-to-end
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical risk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience building and developing technical teams in a high-growth or evolving environment
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing competing priorities
This opportunity offers the opportunity to lead and shape security strategy within a cutting-edge HPC infrastructure environment. Candidates must be willing and able to follow a hybrid office model, three days per week onsite, and must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
