Glocomms is partnering with an innovation-driven biotechnology organization that is seeking a hands-on IT Business Applications leader to support and enhance critical enterprise systems across Finance, Procurement, and Commercial functions.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to partner closely with business stakeholders and drive system improvements end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve business-critical applications, with a strong focus on Anaplan and financial planning systems
- Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Lead configuration, enhancements, and ongoing optimization of enterprise platforms (e.g., Anaplan, ERP systems, procurement tools)
- Design and manage system integrations to ensure seamless data flow across platforms
- Support planning, reporting, and forecasting processes, including financial planning and monthly close
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and Tier 2/3 support for application issues
- Drive testing efforts (UAT, integration testing, releases) for system updates and new functionality
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, audit readiness)
- Act as a key liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in IT/business applications, systems delivery, or application support
- Strong, hands-on experience with Anaplan (implementation highly preferred)
- Experience supporting Finance systems and processes (planning, forecasting, reporting, close)
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP), procurement tools, or SaaS applications
- Experience with system integrations (APIs, middleware, or data pipelines)
- Ability to operate in a hands-on, individual contributor role while managing cross-functional initiatives
- Strong stakeholder communication skills across both technical and business teams
- Experience working in structured, regulated environments (SOX or similar) is a plus
- Background in ERP platforms (SAP or similar)
- Experience in procurement or commercial systems
- Exposure to audit/compliance environments
- Project management or Agile experience
Salary : $125,000 - $165,000
