Key Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 perioperative operations across OR, PACU, endoscopy, and sterile processing
- Drive OR utilization, case throughput, and surgical volume growth
- Implement KPI-driven performance metrics (block utilization, turnover time)
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize scheduling, efficiency, and patient outcomes
- Reduce reliance on travel nursing staff and stabilize core teams
- Standardize clinical workflows and preference cards
- Ensure compliance with patient safety, regulatory, and quality standards
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN required) or equivalent experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Jersey (or eligibility)
- 2–5 years of leadership experience in perioperative or OR settings
- Strong expertise in operating room management and surgical services
- Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and team leadership
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, patient safety, and quality improvement
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Experience scaling OR case volume and surgical program growth
- Familiarity with robotic surgery systems (Da Vinci, Mako)
- Background in acute care or community hospital environments
- Experience with data analytics, KPI dashboards, and performance tracking
- $157,000 – $220,000 base salary performance bonus
