What are the responsibilities and job description for the Databricks Architect position at Global Technology Partners?
We are seeking an experienced Databricks Architect with strong expertise in Master Data Management (MDM). This is a long-term contract opportunity with Onsite (Hybrid) work arrangement.
- F2F interview is required.
- Due to the nature of the project, we are accepting Visa Independent candidates only.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years at an Architect level.
- Strong expertise in Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Lakehouse Architecture, Table Triggers, Delta Live Pipelines, Databricks Runtime etc.)
- Strong expertise in Master Data Management (MDM)
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services.
- Solid Understanding of Spark and PySpark for big data processing.
- Experience in relational databases.
- Knowledge on Databricks Asset Bundles and GitLab.
- Databricks certified Data Engineer Associate certification is preferred.
