Role Overview
The QC Support Analyst (Operations Test Associate) supports the Molecular Diagnostics Division by performing QC release testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods. This role operates in a cGMP environment and requires the ability to execute testing across multiple assay platforms to ensure the timely and compliant release of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine QC testing using GMP/GLP practices
- Analyze and interpret data against protocol-defined specifications, validity criteria, and alert limits
- Support QC release testing for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
- Maintain product and QC material inventories
- Ensure laboratory cleanliness, organization, and stocking of testing materials
- Maintain and support equipment calibration or submit equipment for calibration as required
- Complete training requirements on time and maintain accurate training records
- Participate in laboratory investigations for invalid assays and out-of-specification (OOS) results
- Prepare and archive documents within the document management system
- Manage and maintain original data files
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of industrial laboratory experience, preferably in Quality Control (QC)
- Working knowledge of GMP/GLP requirements and regulatory standards
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft applications
- Ability to perform data analysis and result interpretation accurately
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems
- Working knowledge of LIMS and/or QSR systems
- Prior experience in a cGMP laboratory environment
