Position Overview
The Accounting Specialist role supports core accounting and finance operations, requiring a solid understanding of debits and credits, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. This position plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliation in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accounting and finance tasks requiring prior professional experience.
- Apply a clear understanding of debits and credits in daily financial activities.
- Conduct reconciliations by comparing internal financial data with external sources.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to daily and monthly close deadlines.
- Utilize intermediate Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.
- Maintain strong attention to detail to support compliance and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in accounting or finance roles
- Clear understanding of general ledger concepts, including debits and credits
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Ability to meet recurring deadlines in a structured environment
Preferred Qualifications
