GLOBAL OPS is seeking Armed Security Agents to support client sites throughout Long Island.

This is an active, field-based position designed for professionals who thrive in environments that require awareness, strong judgment, and visible presence. Approximately 60 to 70 percent of your shift will be spent outdoors and on your feet conducting patrols, maintaining site security, and responding to incidents as they arise.

This is not a static post.

We are seeking dependable individuals who carry themselves with professionalism, remain alert under pressure, and understand the importance of strong communication and situational awareness.

Professionals with backgrounds in law enforcement, military service, executive protection, corrections, emergency response, or public safety often transition exceptionally well into this role. It is especially well-suited for experienced professionals seeking a structured environment, meaningful work, and scheduling flexibility.

A valid pistol permit and armed security credentials are required to be considered.

• Conduct routine patrols to maintain order and visible presence
• Monitor and control access to assigned properties
• Identify suspicious activity and respond appropriately
• Enforce site protocols and address unauthorized individuals
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and on-site concerns
• Provide assistance to staff, guests, and visitors
• Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports

• Active New York State Security Guard License
• Valid unrestricted concealed carry handgun license
• If Active Law Enforcement, valid branch ID
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, corrections, or related field
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
• Consistent and reliable work history
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules
• Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings and training
