Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) Preferred Local

Seeking a Technical Lead to support project and technical managers in driving data modernization initiatives. This role involves guiding developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, and managing technical responsibilities across multiple pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide developers; perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and modernization strategies.
• Design, develop, and test Java based, cloud native applications.
• Build and maintain AWS ETL pipelines and data lakes.
• Validate data integrity through SQL queries and debugging.
• Support Agile/Scrum teams with test cases and back end validation.
• Ensure compliance with standards, security, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  
  

Required Skills

• 7 years with AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, Glue, Athena).
• 7 years leading and mentoring technical teams.
• 7 years modernizing applications (refactoring/migration/cloud native).
• Strong Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate development experience.
• Expertise in SQL (complex queries, performance tuning).
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• AWS Certification.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, AWS QuickSight).
• Prior State Government project experience.
