We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager who will, under broad supervision from the State Registrar, plan, coordinate, organize, and assess the development and implementation of data modernization initiatives within the State Office of Vital Records. The role focuses on improving data quality, modernizing legacy systems using FHIR standards, and managing multiple IT-related projects aligned with program strategic goals.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health Administration, or related field OR 10 years of relevant experience
- PMP Certification (Mandatory )
- 5 years managing a portfolio of 7 projects
- 5 years managing IT projects
- 5 years documenting SOPs, governance, or IT system documentation
- 3 years in business process improvement and business analysis
- Experience implementing FHIR standards
- Experience with APIs and system integrations
- Knowledge of public health data
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to define system requirements and interpret BRDs/design documents
- Experience working in State Government IT environments
- Experience with RFP/RFI analysis and responses
