Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Review proposals/plans, determine timelines, funding, staffing, and assign resources.
- Execution: Identify and schedule deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
- Leadership: Provide motivation and guidance to project teams; coach junior PMs and executives.
- Resource Management: Establish work plans, recruit/assign personnel, and oversee external vendors/consultants.
- Communication: Implement project communication plans; prepare reports for leadership.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring: Track project activities, ensure quality/integrity of information, and maintain consistency.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong client/stakeholder relationships; manage expectations.
- Governance: Establish standards for reporting/documentation; recommend process improvements.
- Strong blend of business, IT, financial, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Proficiency with project planning tools (Microsoft Project, Planview, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build trust.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7 years of progressively responsible IT experience.
- 5 years managing complex IT projects.
- Business unit-facing experience with strong problem-solving commitment.
- Proven leadership and soft skills in diverse team environments.
